New Zealand Driving Academy is wholly New Zealand owned and operated.
The managing director, Sam of New Zealand Driving Academy, has been training and testing drivers for 45 years, since 1968. Sam has been a testing officer in New Zealand, Australia and Fiji.

New Zealand Driving Academy is a New Zealand Transport Agency Approved Course Provider (ACP) and we have also been approved as a training provider by a number of industry training organisations, such as:

All driver trainers employed by New Zealand Driving Academy are NZTA approved driving instructors, accredited assessors and Competenz registered forklift trainers. These accreditations provide our clients with confidence that they are dealing with a professional training provider, who delivers quality training and assessments.

Here at the New Zealand Driving Academy we undertake a proactive approach to driver training and driver education. Our Instructors have extensive experience from beginners to older drivers. We provide manual or automatic transmission vehicles with dual control, for safe stress-free driving lessons. New Zealand Driving Academy has its own vehicles such as cars, trucks, truck and trailers and forklift.
